The Monsoon Architecture Awards 2025 is a prestigious event recognizing exemplary architectural projects that demonstrate resilience and sensitivity to the unique challenges of monsoon climatic regions.

Shortlisted entries are invited to present their project ideas live to a final jury panel composed of our past speakers, followed by a panel discussion for each category.

Prize Money: The winners from each category shall take home USD 1500 and citations shall be awarded USD 750.

Monsoon Architecture Awards 2025

Organized by the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) Cochin Centre, the awards aim to promote innovative solutions that address climate change, urbanization, and environmental degradation in these regions. The awards are part of the broader Living Monsoon initiative, culminating in the Monsoon Architecture Festival 2025, a global platform for architects, scholars, and students to engage in meaningful discussions on sustainable architecture.
