ERNESTO BEDMAR

Ernesto Bedmar is an Argentinian Architect who travelled widely during his early days as a professional. In 1986 he set up his own practice in Singapore:Bedmar& Shi Designers Pte Ltd and since then has been a director and design consultant at the company. From 1989 to 2000 Ernesto was a part-time tutor at the School of Architecture at the National University of Singapore. Among numerous awards, he was awarded the 1Oth SIA Architectural Design Awards for Recreational Buildings and lndividual Houses Categories in 2010. Besides his monograph Romancing the Tropics, S-in-Five and The Bali Villas published by Oscar Riera Ojeda (for Thames & Hudson), Ernesto’s works have been featured in many international publications.
